As far as I can see, Bob improved the chokes on his gun, at least for the upland hunting I like to do. To me overly tight chokes are a PITA, one more thing I have to spend money on to make the gun more suitable for my needs.

It's 2011, not 1932, shotgun ammo is mighty impressive today.
It's a MUCH more usable and sellable gun with it opened up to reasonable specs.
