It was a hot and steamy day at Lapeer Michigan on the 23rd of July, 2011. Nevertheless an intrepid group of mostly aging men and a couple women rendezvoused with their favorite SxSs to celebrate life by shooting those ever elusive clay pigeons.

The Parker Gun Collectors Association was well represented.

On display were a trio of Parker EH 10 Gauges with #2 and #3 Frames, a lovely 16 GHE Skeet, a BH 12 Gauge, and a Grade 3 Top Lever hammer gun.

My squad included a Parker GH 20, a William Powell 16, a Linder (Daly?) Diamond Grade 16, a Parker Skeet 12 with Vent Rib, and my 1906 AH Fox A Grade 32 12.

This photo of Paul Jr. with his AYA #2 and fine cigar says it all!

Kurt of Densmore Custom Calls eyes the sky for ducks as Eric and Rich try to tell him that we are only shooting clay birds!
