The brazing is probably bleeding, (just like cleaning brass items) from the cleaner being used, such as Hoppe's or whatever.................clean very good but gently with acetone and a 'new' small brass brush (Home Depot), lightly cleaning off the green residue.....................let dry and coat with EEZOX.........that should solve your problem there Mark..and continue to use EEZOX instead of brand X............bowensoutdoorsupply.com
