It goes snap in both barrels!!!
There wasn't room to move the main spring forward with the cocking levers removed. I figured out a system that worked pretty well.
Starting with the cocking levers in:
Place the main spring in position.
Put the hammer in place over the spring and under the cocking lever.
Compress and stake the hammer in position with a 3/64" brass rod.
Insert the trigger sear, stake in place with a 1/8" brass rod (just under the pin size).
Cock the spring and hold with the trigger sear.
Remove the 3/64" brass rod.
Move the trigger sear to control the fine positioning of the hole in the hammer.
Stake the pin on that side. Repeat for the other side.
I'm sure there had to be a simpler way, but this was the first way I found.
