I certainly had no problems understanding what you were saying & concur with it.
To see if we are all playing the same game, here are my understandings of terms used.
Choke Regulation is to control the pattern the bbl/s throw.
Barrel Regulation determines where the two bbl's hit relative to one another.
Fitting determine where the bbl/s hit relative to the shooter.
Whether they are simply set to a fixture in a predetermined configuration or if they are subsequently targeted & tweaked by being melted apart & re-set ALL multi-bbl guns have some sort of "Barrel Regulation". The bbls are set to a converging configuration, not because they are smaller at the muzzle, but because the "Twist" of the gun in recoil causes them to shift their impact point in firing, otherwise they would be set parallel. This is regulation, whether they are ever re-set after initial assembly or not.
