To clean you can use Ballistol or Kroil and I think copper wool? M4 told me but I can't recall. Odd that it is devoid of engraving and has the slim forend hanger. Hugo Kolb, who might have been an uncle to H.A. Lindner, was performing the tap, tap, tap for the Lindners at this time. I'd guess it to be post 1874. Fritz Heimbeck wasn't employed for say another 16 years. Being devoid of any tube knitter's initials(they may be hidden under the rib), I would guess that H.A. Lindner contributed a large effort here and that the intent might have been there for an agent or Schoverling & Daly firearms merchant to adorn it.
