a number of years ago I found an old side by side at a rummage sale. a double hammer gun with a set of 30 inch damascas barrels. Very old, but all works, pretty nice wood, nothing special though as far as engraving, but a nice old gun that went into my closet. Years later I heard of a friend that had a special Daly that had crossed pistols with a crown under the forestock. I had never removed it, so I found the gun where I put it and looked. They are there, the serial number is 1846. Any thoughts on what this might be?
