I developed it from experimentation and extrapolation.
Another poster gave me his load of 25 gr Pb with 1 1/8 oz/
I use 23.5 gr with 1 1/4 oz . Pb uses about 79-80% of the 7625 loads I have found and 23.5 to 25 gr is right in the percentages of 7625 suggested loads for the 10 ga.

Any problems shooting any of those low pressure loads in cold weather? I was having issues with some of mine. Friend tipped me off that the wad I was using (CB-4100) might be the problem. I can't say for sure he was right, but the ones I loaded with the CB-1100 worked fine.

Are you using the Federal hulls and which wad?

I use the CB1100 wad (7625 powder) and haven't had any cold weather problems. I shoot all winter long and it's down in the single digits sometimes.

What I have found is that trying to get a couple of extra reloads out of a case will let you down with a blooper now and then during the cold weather.
I'm guessing the weak crimp from over use just isn't allowing complete combustion,,again just a guess.

Seems as though you can get away with some so-so condition cases like that with a powder like Clays, but not so with 7625 (in cold weather).
A good reason to toss some of the hulls and start using the inventory stored in the garage I guess.
