Hi guys, this is the William Evans I'm doing up. It had been badly treated. Someone either used a vice or mole grips on the action and caused a heck of a mess.

Anyway, I hadn't seen laser welding until now and it's amazing, clean and very precise. It was then just down to me to file things to shape which took me ages...just a little tidying up and off to my mate at Price Street Brum next week. I hope I can do this little gun justice because it's been so badly looked after

Gene, Fhalz. Thanks guys. Back in a week today for surgery on my right lung. Hopefully keyhole..if not invasive like the left and a 14 inch scar the right side...but whatever it takes. I'm ready..for my kids and Marie.

Margins were good on the left side but my oncologist said they have to watch where the nasty tumour was to make sure no cells remain and if they see anything the with RF the area.

So far the surgery has gone well and I'm recovering well and can walk and move OK now. Just sharp jolts or lying in bed in funny positions and it burns.

Fhalz good luck yourself my friend. I'm sorry you can't make the CLA and get well. Best wishes from us here.

Thanks Mark. I've passworded the ebook at present because I REALLY am thinking of making it into a proper book. Happy to give the pw to anyone that would like to read as it evolves and give me feedback though.

Tony, congrats on your progress with health. I did the 'ole prostate thing three years ago. Not likely to be habit forming!!!

It is a delight to see a nice old gun get some TLC. A bodger you are certainly not!!!
