This gun came into the shop a bit out of order. Usually a gun will go to the finisher before the engraver. Unfortunately It came to us last and we had to to final fit and finish after engraving. Typically a screw is timed, then the head is rounded over. That way you have something to hold on to in the lathe when you time the screw. These screws did not give me that option as the heads were already made. The L and R could and most likely should have been removed, but before the gun went to the engraver. As to the un-engraved screws, it is a Parker and that is the way they are, or did you not know that Mr. Cox?
