I've replaced the brass front bead on my 06' 2E LC with an ivory bead-any tips for 'aging' the ivory? Thanks.

I would probably try soaking it in tea before installation. Its probably too late for that now. You could wrap the barrel in plastic wrap, with only the bead poking through. Make a cup of tea, wring out the tea bag and place it over the bead for a few hours or a day.
It should provide an aged look and could be reversed if you didn't like the outcome.

I've aged paper for a photograph by the tea method. It worked really well.

Ivory will age allot quicker than you think.

Tea stained Ivory looks Tea stained. I've worked with quite a bit of Ivory and I doubt staining could be reversed.

Meerscahum pipes age a lot like ivory just from the smoke that permeates it. The process can be speeded up by an application of warm beeswax. The light up pipe or cigar and blow smoke on it.

The only thing Meerscahum and Ivory have in common are they are both white.

I got an idea (tongue in cheek). My 3F, also made in '06 has both a front and mid-bead made of ivory. They are naturally age-toned. Just wait a hundred years and you'll get-er-done.

Sorry, couldn't resist. JD
