Interesting gun. But why does this qualify as a "shotgun" in a "shotgun only" state? Why isn't it a rifle?
When the rifled shotgun bbls first appeared, there was some resistance to allow them in the field in shotgun (slug)only regions.
I think, and it's only my opinion, the reasoning the Game Laws and those that write them finally allowed rifled tubes was the fact that they still fire a standard shotgun round,,and the rifling itself does not increase the o/a range of the slug.
It only increased the accuracy of the slug within it's usable hunting range.
