I've seen the pics of some of the stock work you have done or had done, excellent! That said, I think you can get a very nice stock done up for under 2K. Mine would not have to be exibition wood, to my taste minimal, sparse engraving would look very out of place with better than 2X. The person who wanted more could have it, the basic gun is the same.

I am not proposing that such a project gun could be made for 3K. I have no idea, not in the biz. The closeout barrels were intended for an Ithaca NID or ICD, not Parker. I recall, (and may not be correct) a few project Parker guns that CSMC was recently closing out at around 3K in the white, do you think they lost money on them?
