I was showing how many manufacturing hours are available for a given amount of money, using common burden rates in the manufacturing biz. Hopefully, that gives a perspective of what can be achieved at various costs. At least a ballpark figure anyway.

I think you're right about the A10. It's listed at $8k today for the basic, no option, gun. I do think the A10 parts count and construction is a good comparator for what mfg a Lefever would be like. Both you and Tom make good points about whether there's enough demand for another vintage designed sxs. Frankly, I think the market is pretty saturated. Nevertheless, it'd be pretty cool to have someone introduce another line of replicas of any of the quality old doubles.
