It's a game for an expert and is the superbowl of shotgun sports. You have to 'pay your dues' in pigeon shooting and can't learn the game over night. As boxbirder said it's an invitation only sort of deal. You would be best suited to start at the small shoots. Otherwise you are guaranteed of only 'donating'. Ask around your trap range. There are some shoots in North and South Carolina. Keep in mind pigeon shooting is a dying sport....partially due to expense and pressure. You better be an expert or have deep, deep pockets if you want to get involved!
