I copied the definition of antique (antiques aren't considered firearms) from the BATF website. I would agree that replicas require shipping to an FFL unless it meets one of the two criteria listed in the definition - either (1) is not designed or redesigned for using rimfire or conventional centerfire fixed ammunition, or (2) uses rimfire or conventional centerfire fixed ammunition which is no longer manufactured in the United States and which is not readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade. Didn't know some dealers were treating all replicas as antiques not requiring delivery to a FFL.
