Berrien, you mean around the rear of the lock the wood has got very sharp along the edges? Because I'm new at this particular type of repair someone else will be better versed I suspect. But I'm just applying more wood to the area, a small piece from inside the lock area, and then glued it onto the thin area...then I'll rub down...it might fail...but we'll have to see! I'll put more photos up as soon as I have something.
