Undaunted by my experience with their Ithaca pad, I've purchased several others in the meantime and they have all been good stuff.
As to the specific pad you ask about, I have the Winchester pad which is just a branded version of the "thin," which at 7/8" isn't really. Visually, however, they have a slightly thick black base that makes the red rubber part appear pretty thin. Like I say, no complaints.
Might also look at the thin (0.6") Pachmayr Old English. Done up in the regular, harder rubber, they make nice pads for a field gun.
Didn't know Pachmayr made one that thin. I'll check it out. I'm trying to avoid cutting wood, which is at just over 14". Normally I want my total LOP to be at 14". I'd use this mostly for skeet and dove/quail.
