One of, if not the most, unique little .410 doubles that I've ever seen. Congratulations!
What kind of buttplate is that and will you have it checkered--not that it needs it, just wondering?

I love the Darne and one day wish to own as many as I now own in other sxs. Someone once said that the French can over engineer and over design almost everything. That is what I see here. Not be be negative but simply not to my liking on what fine engraving should entail on a gun of this quality. I do hope you have many enjoyable years in the field with it and one day I might see the intrinsic beauty as you do.

Jmo, but that gun is undoubtedly one of the ugliest highly engraved gun I've ever seen. A New Orleans pimp would be real proud of that thing. A Darne is the World's Ugliest Shotgun to begin with, but one with that much tasteless engraving and funny wood is the worst. Wow.

JR Darne it...it's uglier than Dr.Sniffle'beans red headed step child.  Seriously the stock blank looks like it was picked out of a scrap pile by some rank amateur. I won't even comment on the engraving.

I really like your 410, however when you have such a unique gun not everyone is going to share or appreciate your artistic vision. If I were you I would take heart in the fact that we’re all different and appreciate the fact that the world would be a really boring place if we all liked the same thing.
