And this turns the whippy, way too light, 12 gauge Model 21 into ?????. Just joking of course. What are a few more ounces on a twelve gauge 21?

Eightbore. Actually I have a 20 bore Custom grade 21 with vent rib and 28 inch barrels. It weighs close to 7 lbs. It is a very nice gun but weighs more than other 20s with matted ribs.

Socialism is almost the worst.

When I actually shoot a gun, I couldn't tell you if it had a rib or not - or even a bead for that matter. So from my perspective it is purely a question of aesthetics - and for me at least, not so much a good thing.
