Fishing yesterday was a chore, I had nine at one point in the river pool all squabbling and messing about, making it just about impossible. I had to keep moving to find a spot where there wasn't any. The land where I have the fishing rights is owned by the Duke of Devonshire on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire and I understand that the Gamekeepers are going to do a cull. Canadas can be shot all year here if they are causing nuisance. These lot can easily be approached to withing ten to fifteen feet before moving away slightly. Lagopus.....
