Hi Gents.
I have a Parker Reproduction that needs to have the barrels rust blued, receiver color cased, and have the whole thing reassembled. Who would you recommend for the above work? Hopefully one guy, instead of two, or three people?
Thanks.

DelGregos?

I would ASSume that they know what they are doing? I'm not a Paw-Kaa guy and I have no experience with the DelGregos, but thought I'd throw the suggestion out there for ya, you are a fellow "Utahnite" after all.:-)

Be sure you know which case coloring Del Grego is planning to use. He did cyanide hardening on my Parker VHE 20ga when I expected bone case.

The DelGrego's do not work on Parker Reproductions any more---haven't for many years.

Here are two gunsmiths I'd look at for the Repro work you want done:
Mark Beasland www.mbabllc.com and Brad Bachelder

You could bone case color a Reproduction, but that's not the way they came from the factory. That's one reason their CC sometimes faded fairly quickly.

Turnbull Restorations would do a wonderful job, but at a price that would not be proper for the refinishing of a $3500 gun.

Bachelder has done some beautiful refinishing of metal and wood on Repros that members over on the Parker forum have shown off. He'd probably be my choice.

Look into Clark's Gunsmithing and Restorations in CT.
They have a website. Malcolm Clark worked for CT Gun doing the custom Fox case coloring for about 5 or 6 years.
He does rust bluing as well. Pricing is VERY reasonable.
