Another unique BSA marvel of engineering is the 22 semi automatic Ralock (radial lock) rifle. My Dad borrowed one from a neighbour in England when I was 12. I used it on rabbits until the owner asked for it back. It took me 50 years to find another and I did, here in Canada. Bought it in a flash. You can Google for a BSA Ralock if you want to see one. I also had a pre-war BSA air rifle with no forend, under lever, tap to load the 22 pellet. I'm looking for a replacement after 53 years! Used to shoot woodpigeons at night with a lamp off the roost, legal in those days anyway and safer than a 22 under the circumstances.
