It sure looks like a non-rebounding hammer gun to me. Enlarge the photo (zoom in) and you can clearly see the hammer down and firing pin extended. Exactly the opposite of a rebounder.
I've put between 2700 and 2900 cartridges through my Joseph Lang non-rebounder in slightly over 3 years. I shoot it for sporting clays and quail and, from a safety standpoint, I am as comfortable carrying it as any gun I own. However, to safely shoot a non-rebounder the habit of half-cocking before opening must become second nature.
I'm sure glad that Dig (Small Bore) brought this gun to the US because it is definitely my favorite shotgun.
