While waiting for guidance, I primed a couple of AAs and discharged in the basement. Very deep indent in the primers and slight drag marks at opening altho the gun didn't open like a striker bound Fox. Of course the primers set back to take up the headspace as no payload to set the case base back so maybe the situation isn't too bad and I won't get pin drag with a loaded shell. Just a little worried about perforating a primer and pitting another pin.
