I have used both Polywad and RST shells for a number of years without any issues with either. Nor have I had a problem with any US factory 2 3/4 shells with the exception of a few failure to fire issues with remington in a 16ga citori which some cleaning and a new firing pin spring resolved permanently.
It is unfortunate if they (Polywad) have an issue that liability lawyers make them prone to hide rather than work smartly. That said I have never had an issue with polywad and intend to keep buying them. Double guns are fairly forgiving and if I do I have an issue I would catch it before the next shell goes in.
