Tack-hole-Lee was a trap shooter and maybe a gun smith, but I think best remembered for the Lee Dot Reticle in scopes.

He was also a full time gun dealer as I recall, down in the Alabama area. They are still in business. scopedot.com

Thank you peteM I have been to that site several times, and somehow overlooked the email address. I just sent him a line.

Is there a serial number on the top or side of the barrels? Most likley three digits?

SKB the tang is not broken. Someone (moron) put a large scratch in the tang. The scratch is superficial, my guess is it was done with the slip of a screwdriver. I know that the gun was a used to hunt with by the owners great grandfather and he tells me that it was bought new by the man.

I'm going to contact T.K. Lee to see if he still has the Hoffman trap gun with compensator. That must have been a tough sell.

Michael their is no 3 digit number on the barrel. There is a 101004 stamped on the underside of the barrel. The same number is on the foregrip and receiver.

A friend picked up a Sousa Grade single trap. The Ithaca records say it was shipped to T. Lee. There must have been some fine guns run through his store.
