So it was Charles Slotterbek of California who was the 1st to patent a multi-barrel longarm? - "84224 17/11/1868 SLOTTERBEK Charles Fire arm" . Henry Slotterbek was a brother to Charles and moved from Philly to L.A. in 1869 and must have been converting Sharps military rifles with A.J. Plate, who was in San Francisco where Charles was a resident. I'm curious if Plate funded both Henry and Charles Slotterbek's ventures? Henry Slotterbek expired on June 24th, 1888. Why are a few out of sequence patents mixed in along the way? Kind Regards, Raimey rse
