My Model B is back from the smith with a new bolt handle and saddle style mounts, and looking much better than when I got it from "bubba". I will post photos soon but just now my priority is to get out and shoot it.
I am now very interested in the "old masters" or more modern treatments of the safety tab to use a scope. I have an FN safety, an Satterlee Mod 70 style and several cheap copies of the Buhler. The Brno ZG-47 and Model 21 safeties are also familar to me.
There have been a couple of pictures I can recall of forged safety tabs, mostly by "bubba" but maybe someone has something they think has a bit of style in their collection. I'd love to see some pictures if folk can recal anything.
