I am no smith but I don't think you will have a problem with a single trigger RBL. The reason is they are a through bolt design with metal at both the top and bottom of the wrist for the trigger system to rebound off. The problem with single triggers is usually found in many English designs where the single trigger mechanism is rebounding off of wood. Over time that wears and the single trigger starts to have problems or double. I may be a little off in the technical explanation but I believe the general idea is correct.

If you like dt why not look for an RBL with dt? Plenty of them out there.
