Update.
So I did the dirty deed. First, I tapped up the stock and marked out a couple lines. I transferred the original pitch two inches in, then marked a line (minus 3/4") that would get me to a 14" LOP and zero pitch. I then extended my fence to accommodate the 28" barrels, lightly clamped the gun, and leveled the stock. My test cut was to only cut off the original pitch, to zero pitch. That worked well; so I cut to my mark, which would give me a 14 LOP, including my plastic butt plate.
Here is a link to the pics.
http://s984.photobucket.com/albums/ae325/Dolapsch/Laurona%20stock/ I put the original butt plate back on, and I will eventually shape it to fit when I'm happy with the LOP and pitch. My thumb is now aprox. 2" from my nose, so off to the range to see if I can better my usual scores with this gun.
Oh, since I also had the chokes opened to skeet 1 and skeet 2, it should be an interesting day, but that wont happen for a week or so.
Bye for now.
Don.
