Thanks for the input guys. I have sent an email off to Laurona. I suspect from what I have learned so far is that they no longer make SXS guns. The older Blue Book shows at least 4 grades of Laurona SXSs. I believe that this is likely the 2nd to top grade. I have noticed this apparent anomally in the past where factories producing workmanlike guns occassionaly take forays into what would seem to be ground unfamiliar to them. Perhaps the more talented of their engineers and workers want to express themselves with something more artistic and challenging then the machine made guns which make up the bulk of their production and sales. On the other hand perhaps they are sampling the grass on the other side of the fence.
