However it's always been my understanding that Charles Daly was strictly a US firearms importer. This 1925 gun appears to be a relatively recent arrival from Germany. The washer under the machine screw used in the stock repair is a 1942 steel 10-pfennig piece.
Further, I acquired the Schueler Catalog reprint offered by the German Collector's Assn and it arrived today. The catalog is undated, but appears to be from between the wars. Nothing close to this shotgun is in the catalog.
