I am looking at purchasing a Laurona SXS sidelock. This particular gun apparently built in 1967 has ejectors, H & H type quite deep and extensive engraving, front articulated trigger, cocking indicators and hand removeable 7 pin sidelocks. Now it has been by opinion that Laurona is a 3rd or 4th tier maker of pedestrian products. This particular gun serves to prove I may have been wrong. In your experience did Laurona build higher quality pieces? There seems to be no model designation on the gun. It has proof marks of 960 Kgs , 2 3/4" chambers. Fit and Finish are not first class but are not careless & sloppy either. Other stampings are EMN, Q1, 893 & 1360. It is a 12 gauge gun bored improved cylinder and full. All critiques welcome.
Thanks,
