Not quite M'Lud, take heart. A pic from Feb this year of my friend Matt, 12, with his first driven pheasant. I wasn't present but I know that drive well and there are few easy birds; his Dad said it was a corker. He was using my .410 bolt action Webley and Scott. I've seen Matt shoot clays and he's (very) good, a real cool little customer.



Matt enjoys his days beating, works his ferrets on rabbits having shot a few with his air rifle, and potted woodpigeon over decoys too.

Hello John - were you part of the Perrins day which was profiled in the Shooting Gazette this month? Smashing photos and good to tide us over the long close season!

The day was at my ground and I am one of the silly bu**ers who got dressed up in fancy dress - well breeks etc.
