To get back on the track of objectivity, the Couric interview does not trace the origin of "Fast&Furious" to even Cabinet level let alone to Mr. Obama. The "smoke" of placing the President's views of the 2nd upside the scandal of a BATF entrapment project gone wrong doesn't mean there's a "fire". But if there is something to this besides Dave's smoke and mirrors, finding out "who knew how much when" and whether Cabinet officers, Obama, Biden et al had their fingerprints on it would be in order. I faintly recall Mr. President Boraxo Cowboy and Veep Poppy Bush facing the same sort of question about means and ends a couple decades back. I forget how that turned out but seem to remember that shite don't stick to Teflon like it sticks to goat hair.
