He will be re-elected in 2012 and one reason why will because of the public backlash against the racism shown by the "tea" ergo new republican party. Just you watch, keep it up guys. No matter how moderate a candidate the republicans run, the Dems are going to paint him as extreme as the crowd he runs with...ie you guys who think he's a Kenyan national and a commie.
