Let's start a petition to eliminate the star system. As Craigster said, it is childish. And it's distracting. I can see no benefit whatsoever to have it.

I don't think a petition is necessary, Dr. Bob. Stars and the thanks tally on Parker board make no sense at all. I have confidence that Reason will prevail. No board wants to look like it's run by Gadhafi, killing those he says he loves.

I agee with King here; reason will prevail. I've posted some controversial(to some) information regarding guns,politics and left wing socialists and it hasn't been appreciated by a small minority on this forum and I've been dinged by them for doing so.

Ok, old stuff. The star takers would be less inclined if they were identified. Same with other posters. They would be more civil if they had to use their own names.

Just to bring some up to date information. I shot skeet this afternoon with Joe Wood and Amarillo Mike and NEITHER of them wore their STARS at the skeet range. While both were exemplary in their skeet skills, the stars awarded here were NOT displayed  Mike

I think he's been keeping Joe's shooting skill under wrap ever since he found out Joe can shoot better'n him.
