Violence has struck many innocent people. But, as always, we need to look at the criminal and not the implement.
I've had my share as well. Both sides of my family have been affected by drunk drivers that were repeat offenders and ended up killing 4 members on one side and 2 on the other.
It took me a bit of time to realize it was not the Ford Mustang or the Jeep Wrangler that killed my family members. Nor was it the fault of the beer or whiskey. Those were all objects that meant no harm to anyone.
Just as my consumption of beverages has nothing to do with those fatalities either, neither do my firearms cause any human being the slightest harm.
It was the drivers who were repeat offenders who could care less for human life.
