Making the trigger "mechanical" is not difficult,I have seen a few done to enable use with very light loads . But problems can arise, with both change over and double discharge. Not commom but not unknown. As to the safe ,could be one of a couple of things ,the push bar is to long if its an auto ,or the retaining pin needs a flat on one side to allow it to travel freely. Sorry I can not suggest any one to do the work but dose mot your supplier have some one?
