Like Whitey Hanson and Mad Mike, I am also a member here and on the ASSRA Forum. There are guys who for whatever reason post things that irritate others, whilst perhaps some are of a more sensitive nature and are easily upset. It's not solely on the ASSRA Board but it happens here as well.
Most Forums have rules about 'Flaming' and being good mannered but control of these people lies with the moderators who may or may not do a good job.
I've made a good number of Email friends on both 'boards' and miss them when they leave, as their postings were frequently very interesting and informative. Fortunately most were already members both 'boards' so I still see them about.
Surely there's enough trouble in the world without us making more?
