I'll second that. Plus Ken is a fine man to boot.

Thank you all! I appreciate the kind words very much.

Ken's getting pretty excited about getting his gun and I'm trying to finish some work on it namely a leather covered pad.

Glenn and I are going to Reno for the ACGG Exhibition. Glenn is applying for membership this year, so we should all offer him the best of luck. He REALLY doesn't need luck because his work will speak for him.

Doug

Doug,

Nice work! You truly are a master craftsman!

Have fun at the show and I wish Glenn all the luck I can possibly offer.

Go Glenn!

Doug,
If you see this, I need some advice and tried to send you an email but got a failed message from the address you have on this site. I PM'd you also. I don't know if the PMs are working on this bbs, though.

I guess Glenn would not want to post pictures of his "admission project gun" before the show. We would like to see it if he would post pictures.

Doug, I for one really appreciate the creative talent that's going into a redo of these vintage guns. You and Ken make a great team. Do you wear socks?? Please post any and all your work as it is a joy to look at newly created work. What makes it special is each piece can be entirely unique and a one of a kind. Take the outstanding metal fit of the old classics and adorn it with the talent you guys bring to the table and now we have a "priceless" SXS. Take nothing away from lets say a DH Parker, Didn't they make 10,000plus of them. Toss in a few extra bucks, buy a VH[or FoxSW, LC/00, or Lefever G/H]and let Ken and Doug have a go at it and now you have a real piece of art. And maybe the neatest part is the owner has input in the details of the project. Send them a photo of your favorite dog, gamebird etc. and think how special that would be to see it staring back at you from the sideplate. Many thanks for sharing. Randy

Gentlemens:

Thank y'all for the well wishes. By this time Friday we will find out which way the sword is pointed. I better get at least one vote or Mr. Mann is in deep doo-doo....

I can't post any pictures because the Swine Computer from Hell is not playing nice. It ate all my email and is involved in other antisocial behavor. On the bright side, the computer store just called and my new computer is finally done... I'll need y'all who I have been corresponding with, or would like to, to send me an email so I have your addresses again.

Best regards,

Glenn

Not to worry Mr. Glenn, I'm sure you'll be a shoe-in for membership ! You and Mr. Doug have a ball out there --- only wish I could make the trip.

Be sure to post pictures of your rifles you will be showing --- lots of guys here that also like classic singleshot rifles. Hands down, you build the finest singleshot rifles available. Look forward to hearing from y'all when you get back. Still barefooted in Carolina (unless I'm showing off). Ken
