Adam- thanks for posting that video- I am really looking forward to this, especially after a brutal winter - my house is now surrounded by glare ice and I have to wear crampons if I want to go out.
I really do not understand their objection to 12 ga because as you say they can be loaded pretty light.
I wonder if they are concerned about getting hunters who throw up a barrage of ack-ack indiscriminately?
The Orvis recommendation carries a lot of weight with me after experiencing Libby's in Maine. This autumn will be my fifth year there.
How were you hunts at Libby's? I have really been wanting to give ruffed grouse a try.
Don't kid yourself there aren't many wild Quail left in the south....why the flushing dog in the video ?
A wild Quail doesn't need a flushing dog...place reminds me of Disney World
