All the Ithaca .410-bores were NIDs. Up through the last Flues catalogue, the smallest bore Ithaca catalogued was 28-gauge. With the 1926 NID catalogue they began catalogueing the .410-bore and dropped the 28-gauge. However, they did build NID 28-gauges from the beginning. The 28-gauge returned to the NID catalogues with the 1932 issue, concommitant with Western Cartridge Co. introducing their Super-X 28-gauge shell.
