Are there really serious Parker Repro "collectors" out there? I know many of us like certain guns for their handling qualities for specific uses, but wasn't aware some were sought after as "collectables".

A Springer Spaniel, a 6# double and a fair day to hunt.

Joe, a couple of months ago Chaddick had listed and sold a 12-ga. Repro fitted with replaced 32" bbls. as well as a pad, I don't recall if it had Briley's or not. I just thought it would be quite the coincidence to have two such critters pop up within a relatively short period of time.

I wonder what became of these gun's skeleton butt plates--as well as the barrels? I could use one of those butt plates.

Called Herschel Chaddick this afternoon, and indeed, this is the same gun. Went out to North Carolina and then up to Virginia. Gentleman who sold it to Herschel did not know what had become of the original barrels.
