I once owned a Parker Reproduction Steel Shot Special 2-barrel set with 28" i.c./mod.(it was actually like .008 and .015)and 30"mod./full, with sst, beavertail, and pistol grip in a 2-barrel case. Sold it to an airline pilot in NY.
I was pretty close to the Parker Repro effort through John Allen, who was with Dunn's/Paul Jaeger in Grand Junction, TN at the time. John collaborated with Jack Skeuse to get the Steel Shot Special version done.
To my knowledge, there is no such thing as 32" Repro barrels.
JR Are you absolutely positive it was a SSS? If it indeed was, I find it quite amazing Jack Skeuse and Parker Reproductions would produce a SSS factory choked M/F as they recommended not shooting steel through their guns choked tighter than modified. The 30" bbls were bought later. I've had five SSS's.

I also latter owned a DHE 12 bore Repro that had 28" BHE barrels with the engraved wedges. Wished I had that one back! I had one like that as well. Two barrel set, no less. Barrels correctly numbered to the rest of the gun, but with the BHE wedges of engraving. Straight/splinter/DT. I'd take that one back too. Re the markings on Repro barrels . . . I've seen some with a "cartouche" in the top rib, and others with the Parker Reproduction etc marking stamped on the side of the barrel. Minor difference, I guess.

The 32" Repro that my friend Joe now owns has original Parker Brothers markings on the barrel flats as well as a pretty good Repro serial number stamp. It is possible that Jack Skeuse put this gun together as a prototype for a long barrel gun or maybe someone else did.

I recently saw a 28g repro with 32"barrels, vintage Parker barrels. Nice swing to it. Not likely to see another, repro or vintage. I wish Tony G had offered his 410 barrels in at least 30".
