jOe, your picture of that center draft lock is very similar to the early Syracuse L.C. Smith hammer locks that stayed into production in Fulton and was changed in 1899.
That set up is almost identical. I refer to them as a 5 pin 2 screw lock but it is a Center Draft Lock or bar action.

What is this from, it looks to be a high quality gun.
