Midland was still in business on Bath Street In the late 1940,s & early 1950,s. At that time they were making some very nice single barrel guns for export to british Colonies in Africa. So called,chiefs guns. British Regulations of the day prohibited the sale of double guns to the indigenous people. For the record I was in their shop, and saw these guns.
