No advantage to using the Alcan hulls if you are satsified with plastic.
As far as 1 1/8 ounce stuff, why?
The one ounce square load is great for pheasants and also with non-tox for ducks and geese.

I use the 2.5 inch 16 gauge stuff in my Kreighoff drilling, Geco Guild gun, Win Model 12 Skeet grade, OLD pre-war A-5 Browning,
and my 16 gauge Browning Superposed.
