Researcher Sidelock Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 5,945 Likes: 144 WA/AK	My UMC catalogues from 1903 thru 1915/16 all offer their 8-gauge paper cases in 3 1/4, 3 1/2 and 4 inch lengths. By the 1918/19 catalogue they only offer 3 1/4 inch. They also carry the note that they are for bulk powders only. UMC doesn't show any 8-gauge hulls for dense smokeless powders.
